Learn about Bible Translation

Lancaster University Chaplaincy is marking 400 years since the publication of the King James Bible (or Authorized Version) by hosting a day with Ronnie and Margaret Sim from Wycliffe Bible Translators/Summer Institute of Linguistics. They are coming to speak on Sunday 6th February 2011.

They will be the main speakers in the Chaplaincy's morning service at 11.30am (a united service for Christians of all denominations), and will give a presentation on the work of Wycliffe at 2pm for about an hour. Anyone is welcome to attend either or both events - you don't have to be a member of the University community. Lunch is available for £2.50 between the service and the talk.

All will take place at the Chaplaincy Centre at Lancaster University.

Let us know of any events celebrating the Year of the Bible taking place in the local area, and we can publicise them here.
